The Challenge:
A Global Leader with Complex Digital Needs

As a major international company in the construction sector and a global leader in its niche, Mageba required a web presence that reflected its status. The new website had to be built on their proprietary, PHP-based CMS, “Toolpark pc3,” which handles everything from content and database management to files.

The challenge was multifaceted, extending far beyond pure programming. As the sole developer assigned to the project, my role encompassed client management, requirements analysis, and translating diverse business needs into a cohesive digital platform. The final product had to be not just functional, but also high-performing and feature-rich.

My Approach:
A Developer as a True Technical Partner

This project required a hybrid approach, blending deep technical execution with proactive project and client management.

I built the entire website using vanilla JavaScript and CSS to ensure a lean and fast user experience, all while working within the powerful but specific environment of the Toolpark pc3 CMS. My focus from day one was on clean code and performance optimization.

Beyond the core site, I architected and built three business-critical features:

• A Central Product Database I designed a comprehensive product database to act as the single source of truth for Mageba’s entire product portfolio. Each product could be managed in detail with all relevant metadata—from technical specifications and images to different versions.

• A Document Management Portal For clients and employees, a portal is available where the relevant documents for each product—such as certificates, technical data sheets, or manuals—are easy to find and download. The tight link between the product database and the document portal ensures fast, intuitive access to all product information.

• A Dynamic Reference Database The reference database was also intelligently integrated. This allowed Mageba not only to showcase impressive projects but also to directly highlight which specific products were used. This created a powerful link between proven application and technical product, which is of great value to potential new customers.

The Result:
A High-Performance Enterprise Platform

Over the course of 8 months, I delivered a polished, professional website that successfully met the complex needs of a global industrial client.

The site’s quality is reflected in its performance metrics: it consistently achieves a Google Lighthouse score of 90+, demonstrating a commitment to technical excellence and a superior user experience. The custom document portal and reference database provide tangible value to both Mageba’s internal teams and their external customers.

This project underscores my ability to:
